The final decision has been made: after the Catania incidents, which urged the Federation to postpone the 22nd round, the Serie A will resume in the upcoming weekend with the 23rd round matches, while the matches which have been called off last Friday will take place in a midweek round scheduled on April 18th.

This means that Toro will face Reggina at home instead of Parma away, and the Granata will surely count on the support of their fans: in fact, the Stadio Comunale is one of the few Italian stadiums to fulfil the security requirements established in 2006 by a special law called "Legge Pisanu" which will be strictly enforced in order to avert further tragedies. Other teams could be forced to play behind closed doors, such as Chievo (against Inter) and Atalanta (against Lazio).

In the meanwhile, Toro resumed training on Tuesday afternoon at the Centro Sisport. Two players, defender Di Loreto and striker Muzzi, are suffering from minor injuries, while both newcomers Coco and Bovo keep on following a special program in order to recover an adequate shape: the latter could even be available against Reggina.
