Good news from the Toro infirmary: both Roberto Muzzi and Andrea Ardito have fully recovered from the respective problems, and therefore the only missing players for tomorrow’s closed-door clash with Catania will be suspended De Ascentis and injured Konan.

It’s really hard to guess which will be Alberto Zaccheroni’s final choices: the Toro coach could either strengthen the midfield by including both Gallo and Ardito alongside Barone, thus fielding a 3-5-2 lineup, or confirm the 4-men midfield line: in this case, only one of the above mentioned midfielders would play from the starting whistle and Rosina or Lazetic would find room behind the offensive duo, which should be formed by Stellone and Muzzi (or Abbruscato).

Either way, Zac is expected to confirm the 3-men defensive line formed by Di Loreto, Cioffi and Franceschini, with Comotto and Balestri on the wings.

As for Catania, coach Marino doesn’t have any injury worry and will be able to field his best lineup. The Sicilians should face Toro with the same 4-3-3 lineup which started last week in Siena: in front of Pantanelli, the defensive line will be formed by Silvestri, Sottil, Stovini and Vargas, while the three midfielders will surely be Caserta, former Granata Edusei and Baiocco. As for the offensive line, central striker Spinesi will be supported by Mascara on the left and Colucci on the right.
