Cairo: it’s not the Toro I want

Following yesterday's late draw grabbed against Catania, Urbano Cairo didn't hide his disappointment for the umpteenth bad performance of the team, although the Toro president didn't certainly lose his usual optimism.

"The good thing is the result" Cairo said today, "of course one point is not bad, but I surely expect much more. In this phase we're not performing yet as we could, and therefore we must play with more determination and learn not to be afraid, because when you're afraid it's easier to make mistakes".

As for the performance against Catania, Cairo added: "It was a step back compared to the previous matches, but in this phase the most important thing is to collect as many points as possible: the play will improve, I'm sure. In the last four matches we collected five points, and this is definitely an improvement after that bad start: this means that we're finding the right balance and teamwork. Sure, this is not the Toro I want, but we must be patient".

After Monday's rest, the Granata will resume training on Tuesday afternoon at the Centro Sisport.
