Before the start of Thursday’s usual midweek friendly, Alessandro Rosina spoke with the press and analyzed his magic moment, which also coincides with Toro’s positive streak.

"It’s the best moment of my career" he said, "the coach and my teammates have always given me plenty of confidence and I kept on working hard, even when I was benched. I finally found my best position on the pitch, and now the team work really well: Zaccheroni was right when he told us to be patient and wait for the improvements he expected. As for my future, there’s no hurry: my contract expires in 2009, but my wish is to stay here and possibly become a flag of this club, just like the champions I met during the Centenary celebrations".

The friendly was played against one of the club’s youth teams and ended with a 11-0 win: the goals were scored by Stellone, Abbruscato and Muzzi (3 apiece) and Konan (2). As usual, Zaccheroni fielded two different lineups in each half, mixing regulars and reserves.

The starting eleven was as follows: Fontana, Melara, Brevi, Doudou, Martinelli, Pancaro, De Ascentis, Fiore, Lazetic, Konan, Stellone. In the second part the Granata played with Fontana, Di Loreto, Cioffi, Franceschini, Music, Ardito, Gallo, Balestri, Rosina, Muzzi, Abbruscato.
