Closed-door training session under a thick rain for the Granata today at the Centro Sisport: coach Zaccheroni prefers to hide as much as possible his intentions in view of Saturday night's match at Cagliari.

The Toro infirmary is still quite crowded: Ardito, Gallo and Abbruscato were once again forced to make a lighter work, while good news came from veteran defender Oscar Brevi, who should be healthy enough to replace injured Cioffi in the middle of the defensive line.

Zaccheroni, however, will likely be forced to make another change compared to the match against Chievo, as Roberto Muzzi is still bothered by a muscular problem: his substitute will be either Rosina or Oguro, with a few more chances for the Italy under 21 international. No other changes are expected, and therefore the rest of Toro's 3-4-3 starting lineup should be the same that faced the Verona team last Sunday at the Olimpico.

Before the start of the training session, the Granata topscorer Roberto Stellone spoke with the press. "Our goal in Cagliari is the victory" the Roman striker said, "but we must be careful. We didn't have to get depressed before collecting that first win, and we must avoid an excess of enthusiasm now. We are growing, no doubt about it, but we need to collect a few more positive results before saying that the crisis is over. As for my conditions, I feel really well: the pubalgy that tormented me last season is just a memory, hopefully I'll manage to keep this physical and mental conditions for a long time".
