On Tuesday afternoon the Disciplinary Committee of the FIGC suspended, among the others, Toro defender Marco Di Loreto and Milan playmaker Andrea Pirlo, and therefore both will miss the clash between Granata and Rossoneri which is scheduled on Sunday afternoon in San Siro.

Alberto Zaccheroni has several options in order to replace the former Fiorentina player, who started in all of the 14 matches: the first choice would surely be veteran Oscar Brevi, but the former Toro skipper is bothered by a muscular problem and his conditions will be evaluated in the upcoming days. If he won't manage to recover Zac will choose either Diaw Doudou or Matteo Melara, but the Granata coach could also decide to field a 4-men defence with only Franceschini and Cioffi in the middle and wing backs Comotto and Balestri playing a step back.

Milan have much bigger problems, though, as Pirlo joins an already impressive list of sidelined players, most of whom are untouchable regulars: in fact, Ancelotti will be without Dida, Nesta, Gattuso, Cafu, Ambrosini, Costacurta, Favalli and Serginho, while Kakà (who missed the Cagliari match) should manage to recover from his foot injury but won't likely be at his best.
